Description

The next best thing to a sealed Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Beatles "The Collection" Box Set! I bought this set new and sealed in 1985 and opened the outer cardboard shipping box at that time. In the following 28 years, only three of the records were played on an audiophile grade turntable setup and the rest have gone unplayed in that time!! The display box and contents have been kept in a display cabinet in a dark, dry, smoke and dust free environment their entire life and all are in fantastic, like new, condition. Even the box bottom is in excellent condition, showing very minor wear of the felt on the corners. Inside the box, you will find the very informative Artbook, covered by its original protective white cover, which includes the hand numbered Certificate of Authenticity #21,960 and the original artwork of each album. The Artbook and its cover are in excellent, like new condition. The very functional Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Geo-Disc is most helpful in setting up tonearm/cartridge combinations to effect their best performance. Geo-Disc and its protective cover are in excellent condition.

The albums were pressed on black audiophile virgin vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan ensuring the best sound quality possible. The album covers were replaced with photographs of the master tape boxes and log sheets. All 14 remastered, ALL ANALOG vinyl lps are in the original white protective outer and inner hard paper sleeves and inner rice paper sleeves. LPs and sleeves are in like new condition.
