On offer here is a very rare double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'The Beatles (more commonly known as 'The White Album')' and is a UK STEREO 1st pressing on the 1st Press DARK Apple label!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSTER, RECORDS, 4 COLOUR PRINTS, ORIGINAL BLACK INNERS AND WHITE GATEFOLD COVER!!!! IT IS ALSO IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS EVEN MORE SPECIAL FOR 2 VERY IMPORTANT REASONS!!!! THIS LP HAS 1/1/1/1 1ST PRESS STEREO MATRIX ENDINGS AND INCREDIBLY EARLY MOTHER & STAMPER CODES - BEING 1/TA, 1/G!!!, 5/HA, 4/HG!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
This is the ORIGINAL UK STEREO 1st pressing from 1968 and is in EXCELLENT condition!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press DARK Green Apple Labels, 'Sold in the UK' text, 1st Press Black Apple inners, 'EMI Recording' text on ALL of the labels, 1st Press Poster, 1st Press 4 Colour Prints, and a 1st Press TOP opening numbered (0380934) FULLY Laminated Flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Cover!!!! The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 709-1, XEX 710-1, XEX 711-1 & XEX 712-1 (the 1st Press matrixes)!!!! The Cat. No is PCS 7067/68 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press DARK Apple labels (see picture) and is a STEREO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVENT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and I will grade each side in turn visually and give a play grade and overall grading at the end. Side 1 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 1 must visually grade NEAR MINT ,Looks Unplayed!!!! Side 2 has NO scratches, 1 light hairline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 2 must visually grade EXCELLENT if not better!!!! Side 3 has NO scratches, 3 or 4 light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 3 must visually grade Excellent(Minus)!!!! Side 4 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 4 must also visually grade NEAR MINT. ALL SIDES RETAIN EVERY BIT OF THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! They play with NO nasty loud pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL (apart from a VERY slight amount on a couple of the run on grooves), and only some VERY low level background sound in the VERY quietest parts of the music on Sides 3 & 4 (NONE on Sides 1 & 2)!!!! There is NO groovewear & NO distortion either!!!! The records must overall grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! BOTH records also come in their ORIGINAL Black inners which are in STUNNING condition with NO edge splits!!!! The Poster and the 4 Colour Inserts are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) and they dont look to have EVER left the cover!!!!
The 1st Press Gatefold 'TOP OPENING' Laminated Flipback NUMBERED Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, only slight corner wear (the cover still retains a VERY nice shape to ALL corners), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The top opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, PERFECT flipbacks, STUNNING shiny laminate, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The number on the cover front has faded over the years but the raised writing of 'The Beatles' is simply SUPERB!!!! Not only that but this White Album is VERY White looking indeed with barely ANY yellowing!!!! A STUNNING cover. The cover must also grade Excellent++++ if not better and is VERY hard to find in this condition!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
