Tony Sheridan & The Beat Brothers (The Beatles) - 'My Bonnie / The Saints'. NH 66833

Tony Sheridan & The Beat Brothers (The Beatles) 1961 1st German Polydor pressing of 'My Bonnie / The Saints' 7" single. Released in October 1961, this German pressing of 'My Bonnie' is the Beatles' first commercial record release ever. It is this record that started all the hype and would eventually lead to global fame for The Beatles.

With The Beatles' fanbase growing in Liverpool, demand grew for imported copies of My Bonnie. The buzz around the single inspired Brian Epstein to seek out the group, which he went on to manage. The rest is now history.

Released on the Polydor orange scroll label design with German language rim print and original German language sleeve. As I recall these German releases did not ever have centers intact but were originally made just as this one appears. A superb Beatles rarity that was probably imported into Liverpool during 1961.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 24673-4A M1 H/W+E

Side 2. X24673-2B K1 H/S G

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD- condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition. BUT a name has been written neatly on one side.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. ORIGINAL AND STUNNING.
