Description

Up for bid is the rare original 1965 Columbia contract pressing of the Early Beatles RIAA 3. This particular variant does not have a Capitol plant location on the trail off area the matrix # T1-2309-P3G T2-2309-P3G. The vinyl itself is in NM condition with all original gloss and sheen- very lightly played- extremely well taken care of. The cover is in VG++/EXCELLENT. There is about 3/4 of the shrink on the back cover about 2” piece missing at the opening edge on the back, with slight discoloration, and full shrink on the front, with it's original orange Capitol inner sleeve. This is a fine example of a well taken care of album that is almost 53 years old! Check out my other Beatles items up for auction as well.

On the contrary of my description of this album, this is not a Columbia contract pressing it’s a DECCA contract pressing cause the matrix ends with a G and it was pressed at the Gloverville plant NY.
