Description
The BEATLES White Album (EMI/Apple) New Zealand 1968.
Here's a Rare Original New Zealand Numbered Edition of The White Album. No.19697, quite a low number, reputably they started their numbering system at 10,000...essentially making this No.9697.
The Matrix numbers have been scratched out and replaced. Apparently the Vinyl's were imported from Australia. Although the Cover definitely appears made in NZ...as it varies in style to the Australian version.
The Cover is VG+ (see pics + zoom), minor laminate lift and general wear/discourations, pretty good for it's age, the inner bags have the usual wear & tear - no Inserts, the Vinyl's are VG to VG+, a fair amount of light sleeve scuffing and signs of play. Overall it plays well, a bit of moderate clicking right at the start of Side 2 (about 30 secs), and some occasional light background crackle during the quieter sections.
Difficult to find, don't miss out!!
