BEATLES UK, A Collection of Beatles Oldies’, unusual ridged
record labels, mono 1966 UK LP.
PMC 7016, original black and yellow UK 1966 mono Parlophone
record labels.
A UK mono issue in original condition, featuring:
1. very unusual 'ridged' record labels. The 'ridges' can be clearly seen to the 'outer edge' of each of the record labels,
2. it is unusual that there are no letters, usually 'KT' embossed onto the record / record labels,
3. on each of the record labels the 'PMC 7016' text has been printed in a smaller size,
4. early 'mother / stampers' on side one, being, ‘1 GRO’,
5. comes with its original black and white EMI period advertising inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The laminate has an excellent quality glossy finish. The spine is excellent+ condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The four corners of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The rear of the sleeve features the original UK 1960s tri ‘flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO splits, pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear bottom, right corner there is what appears to be a small 'tea' stain.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original period black and white EMI advertising inner sleeve. An excellent clean, white fresh and uncreased inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent++ condition. The record is made of the original 1960s, quality period 'thick, heavy' vinyl. Each of the playing surfaces have remained very dark and glossy.
The records 'engraved' matrix is: XEX 619 - 1G and XEX 620 - 1G,
The records 'engraved', 'mother / stampers' are: ‘1 GRO’ and ‘3 GDL'.
THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with an excellent loud period 'mono' sound.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent+ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE GRADING SYSTEM BASED UPON THE GUIDE FROM THE UK'S ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES.
IN THE UK – THERE MAYBE AN ADDITIONAL COST FOR POSTAGE / INSURANCE AS THE SELLER HAS NO PROTECTION IF THE ITEM GOES MISSING IN THE POST, THEREFORE POST AND PACKING CHARGES MAY VARY.
