Description
BEATLES UK – A HARD DAYS NIGHT, ‘Know’ mispress Stereo.
PCS 3058 – Original Black and Yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK album in 100% original condition featuring:
1. a rare mispress Stereo label on side one, as the track ‘I should have known better’ has been mispressed as ‘I should have know better’ !
2. on the rear of the record sleeve the song title of the track ‘ I should have known better’ is spelt correctly.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front is laminated. The front of the sleeve has a more unusual small Stereo logo. The spine is in excellent condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has remained very clean and is still a very good fresh clean white in colour. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue. There is some light laminate creasing to the front of the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the correct period original red and white Emi advertising sleeve. Still a very clean sleeve as the whites of the sleeve have remained fresh. The sleeve has NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue. The two sides of the sleeve have signs of edge splits.
THE VINYL: side one is in near excellent condition, side two is in very good++ condition, the vinyl is clean, dark and glossy.
The matrix nos. are: YEX 126 – 1 and YEX 127 – 1,
The Mother/Stampers are: ‘ 3 A M ’ and ‘ 2 M D ’.
THE AUDIO: is near excellent, I did hear some light ‘ticks’ on tracks four and five on side one, but in general the audio is very good, a good playing copy. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays well without any sticking or jumps from the needle.
THE LABELS: are in excellent condition and as mentioned above, side one has a rare mispress Stereo label, as the track ‘ I should have known better’ has been mis spelt as ‘I should have know better’ ! The line of text on label one shows ‘Sold in .U.K.’ etc, ie it has an additional ‘dot’ before the letter ‘U’ ! The letters ‘ K T ’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two of the label. Theres NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the labels.
