BEATLES UK, A Hard Days Night, rare mis press ‘know’ 1964 UK stereo 2 matrix LP.
PCS 3058, 1960s black and yellow Parlophone record labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. a rare mis press stereo record label on side one, as the track, ‘I should have known better’ has been mis pressed as, ‘I should have know better’ !. On the rear of the card sleeve this track title is spelt correctly. Only a very small number of these mis pressed record labels were printed before EMI spotted the error and corrected it,
2. the front of the sleeve features a more unusual ‘small’ stereo logo,
3. unusual stereo record matrix of, ‘2’ on side two, as these stereo records usually have the 1/1 matrix,
4. side one of the record label features an additional ‘dot’ printed within the line of text, ‘Sold in .U.K.’ etc, this additional ‘dot’ does not appear on the record label on side two,
5. comes with its original period EMI advertising inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition, the condition of the sleeve would have been graded higher but there is a 60mm split to the top, centre edge. The front of the sleeve is laminated, the excellent glossy laminate does not have any ‘thumb’ creases. The spine is in very good condition and all of the text is clear to read. The two opening edges have remained sharp. The rear of the sleeve features the period, 1960s ‘tri flip back’ design, ie three fold over edges. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period EMI black and white advertising sleeve. A clean and well preserved original inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one of the side edges.
THE RECORD: side one is in excellent++ condition, side two is in near excellent condition. The record is made of the period, quality 1960s thick heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.
The matrix are: YEX 126 – 1 and YEX 127 – 2, unusual,
The mother / stampers are: 2 MA and 1 AH.
THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent, each side plays with some light ‘crackle’, heard here and there. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full loud powerful stereo sound.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. Each record label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
