BEATLES UK, Abbey Road, out of focus mis pressed, mis aligned Apple logo sleeve original 1969 UK LP.
PCS 7088, original 1969 Apple record labels.
A UK first issue album in original condition, featuring:
1. a mis aligned APPLE logo mis press on the rear of the sleeve,
2. the front photo image of the sleeve has been mis pressed as it is ‘out of focus !’, see the photo of the VW Beetle registration plate. On regular sleeves this registration plate is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve photo is, ‘in focus’,
3. first issue 1969 DARK green Apple colour on side one of the record label,
4. on side two of the record label, the track, ‘Her Majesty’ is not printed and this track is not printed on the rear of the sleeve, but the track plays on the record !.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the sleeve is laminated front and rear. The laminate has an excellent quality glossy finish. The original period ‘thin’ spine is in very good++ condition and has remained clean, white and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. As this is a first issue album from September 1969, it features the Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve mis aligned, to the left !. EMI were quick to correct this and very soon the sleeves were changed and the Apple logo was correctly aligned with the track listing. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period plain white EMI sleeve, with the original text of, ‘Patent No 1,125,555’. An excellent clean, white and crease free sleeve. The sleeve is made of the original heavy grade paper and has a textured surface on the inside of the sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one of the side edges.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good+ condition. Side two is in near very good condition, side two has a ‘mark’ that runs across the playing surface that gives a repetitive light ‘tick’. The record is made of the original 1960s period thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained dark and glossy.
The records matrix is: YEX 749 - 2 and YEX 750 - 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘5 MMH’ and ‘5 AGM’,
THE AUDIO: side one plays very good+, it plays with some ‘ticks’ heard here and there. Side two plays very good, as mentioned side two has a ‘mark’ that runs across the playing surface that gives a repetitive light ‘tick’, otherwise side two plays with some other ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full loud, period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent+ condition. As this is a first issue, side one shows a DARK green Apple colour. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
