BEATLES UK, HELP, original stereo first issue 1965 UK LP, 1
R 'mother / stampers'.
PCS 3071, original stereo first issue 1965 UK black and yellow Parlophone record labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. a more unusual stereo copy, as most of these albums were sold in the ‘mono’ format,
2. side two of the record features very early ‘mother / stampers’ of, ‘1 R’,
3. each side of the record features the earliest ‘mothers’ of, 1/1,
4. the record features a ‘deep groove’ appearance, seen more when the record is ‘tilted’ to the light, a unique feature to these stereo records,
5. comes with its original ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good+ condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the period 1960s, ‘tri flip back’ design, ie ‘fold over’ edges design. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There are some light age related marks on the rear of the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original period EMI ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. A well preserved clean, white inner sleeve for its age. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a split to the two side edges.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good+ condition, side two is in near excellent condition. The record has remained very dark and glossy. The record is made from the period 1960s thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: YEX 168 – 1 and YEX 169 – 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘1 0’ and ‘1 R’.
THE AUDIO: side one plays overall very good, there is a ‘skip’ early on to track three, then there are four ‘ticks’ heard, otherwise a part from track three, the rest of side one plays excellent. Side two plays excellent. The record plays with a full, powerful period stereo sound from its ‘deep grooves’.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in very good ++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers and sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
