BEATLES UK – Magical Mystery Tour EP – original UK first issue mono.

MMT 1 – original first UK issue black and silver Parlophone labels.

An original first issue UK mono EP from 1967. This two record EP set comes with its original storey booklet and first issue blue centre lyric pages, featuring:

1. comes with its two original white ‘wavy top’ inner sleeves.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near MINT condition. The sleeve is laminated front and rear. The colours on the sleeve are full and fresh and have not faded in anyway. The sleeve has retained its four excellent sharp corners. The spine is in excellent++ condition. As this is a very first UK issue the sleeve / booklet has the original blue centre lyric pages, these pages are all fresh and clean with NO creases or thumb nail creases. It features the original exposed flipbacks that can be seen when the sleeve is opened. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are the two original period ‘wavy top’ plain white inner sleeves. Each sleeve is in excellent++ condition. These delicate sleeves have been very well preserved and have remained fresh, white and clean. There are NO stains, tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORDS: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in near excellent condition. Side three is in excellent+ condition and side four is in MINT condition. The condition of the records have been graded under normal daylight conditions. The records are clean, dark and very glossy and look as if they haven’t been played much at all.  

The matrix and mother / stampers are :  

Side 1 – 7XCE 18435 - 1 - the mother/stampers are: ‘1   R R R’,

Side 2 – 7XCE 18434 - 1 - the mother/stampers are: ‘1 0  G D M’, 

Side 3 – 7XCE 18436-1  - the mother/stampers are: ‘2  O’,

Side 4 – 7XCE 18437 - 2 - the mother/stampers are: ‘1  M D’.

There are the letters ‘KT’ engraved onto all four of the ‘run off’ grooves.

THE AUDIO: sides one and two play excellent, sides three and four also play excellent, but with some light crackle.

THE LABELS: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in excellent++ condition, side three is in excellent+ condition and side four is in near MINT condition. As this is a very first UK issue all four labels feature the text ‘The Gramophone’ etc around the labels rim and all four labels have the text ‘Sold in UK’ …etc text.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
