BEATLES UK – Rubber Soul, 1 EMI box with a rare ‘E J Day’ Stereo sleeve.

PCS 3075 – black and silver Parlophone labels.

A UK Stereo pressing in original condition, featuring:

1. a very hard to find tri flipback, ‘E J Day’ sleeve,

2. the rear of the sleeve appears to have a factory mispress as, see photo, on the photo of George Harrison standing and one of the images of Ringo there are some strange, large blobs of ink !, these blobs are original factory printers ink and have not been added afterwards !,

3. the sleeve photo has an odd blu-ish hue to it !, rather than the normal green colour !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. This laminate is excellent, glossy and unscuffed. The sleeve has retained its four excellent sharp corners. The sleeve to the rear has remained a brilliant  fresh white in colour. The sleeve features the original tri-flipback design to the rear. The spine is in excellent++ condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original EMI red and white period advertising sleeve. An excellent, fresh white, well preserved sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL: is in near excellent condition, it is made of the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy and appears to have received little play.
