BEATLES UK, Rubber Soul, 1/1 Loud Cut withdrawn first issue UK 1965 mono LP.
PMC 1267, original UK 1965 mono yellow and black Parlophone record labels.

When 'Rubber Soul' was first released in December 1965 the record featured the 1/1 matrix. But due to some sound balance issues, it was decided to 'withdraw' the 1/1 matrix records and replace them with the 4/4 mono matrix records.

These original mono 1/1 matrix records are now referred to as, the 'Loud Cut' and are highly sought after.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. a first UK mono issue of Rubber Soul featuring the 'withdrawn', 1/1 mono matrix, now referred to as, the ‘Loud Cut’,

2. each of the record labels have an unusual 'textured, tactile' surface to them,

3. comes with its original, 'Use Emitex' inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. An excellent clean, glossy unspoilt laminated finish. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1960s, tri 'flip back' design, ie 'fold over' edges. There are NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear, top right of the sleeve there is a name written in red ink.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. A very clean original well preserved inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in very good condition. The record is made from the period 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained dark and glossy.

The records matrix is: XEX 579 - 1 and XEX 580 – 1,

The 'mother / stampers' are: ‘3 LG’ and ‘3 HP’.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays very good+, each side plays with some 'ticks' heard here and there. The record plays with a full 'loud', powerful period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
