BEATLES UK - Rubber Soul – 1968 Stereo.

PCS 3075  STEREO.

An original UK  later Stereo copy from 1968 in 100% original condition on the Yellow & Black Parlophone Label.

This copy represents a later copy from around 1968 as the vertical spacing of the text on the labels is somewhat greater than the earlier 1965  3/3  Stereo  matrix ‘Sans Serif’  font labels.  

One the label on side one, there is an additional   . (dot) that appears  in the  line of text  ‘Sold in UK, etc,   as it reads ‘Sold in .U.K.’ etc.

The record comes in its original period EMI advertising sleeve, circa late 1968.

Side two on the record label appears to have a textured surface !.

The record labels do not have  a tax code embossed onto them.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in very good condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated.   The spine is very good condition  and all the text is clear to read.   The rear of the sleeve has  tri flipbacks.  There are   NO splits, tears. pen writing,   stickers, or sticker residue.    The unlaminated  rear  shows some ageing.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near  excellent  condition and as this is  a later 1960s pressing it has its   original  EMI red and white advertising sleeve.   It is very clean and white for its age.   It has   NO splits,  pen writing,  tears, stickers, or sticker residue.   

THE VINYL:  is in very good condition,  the vinyl is made from the original period thick, heavy vinyl,   it is  dark and glossy.  

The matrix nos. are:  YEX 178 - 3  and  YEX  179 – 3,

The Mother/Stampers are:   ‘ 2      R R ’    and    ‘ 2      G T  ’.  

THE AUDIO:   is  near very good,  there  is some crackle and some light ‘ticks’  present.  The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with NO skips  or jumps.

THE LABELS:   side one is in  excellent+ condition,  side two is in excellent condition.   There are NO letters  embossed around the spindle holes.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE.
