PMC 1206 – mono black and yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. an original very first UK press 1/1 matrix record,

2. the rear of the sleeve has the spelling of ‘gotta a’, but on the record label it is spelt ‘got a’ !, for the track ‘You really got a hold on me’ !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition, a remarkably well preserved sleeve for its age. The front of the sleeve is laminated, this laminate has remained very glossy and clean. It has remained free from any thumb creases and relativity free from any ‘scuffing’ or ‘indentations’. The two opening edges and the four corners of the sleeve have remained sharp and clean for its age. The spine is in near MINT condition and has remained an excellent fresh white in colour and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear for the sleeve has remained an excellent clean fresh white. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO tears, splits, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a slight scuff mark to the rear which has resulted in some slight paper loss, but this doesn’t notice too much.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent++ condition. Side two is in excellent+ condition. A very well looked after copy. The record has remained very dark and glossy. The record is made from the original 1960s, period, thick, heavy vinyl.

The matrix are: XEX 447 – 1 N and XEX 448 – 1 N, a very first UK mono matrix.

The mother / stampers are: ‘1 6 G T T ’ and ‘3 G O H’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent++, a near perfect audio. An excellent playing copy, that plays with a loud, full period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in near excellent condition, side two is in excellent condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The songs publishing credit for the track ‘Money’ is ‘Dominion / Belinda’. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
