BEATLES UK – With the Beatles LP, unusual 5/5 matrix, darker sleeve photo.

PMC 1206 – Mono black and yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. the front sleeve photo shows a very dark and grainy photo. See photo, the photo on the left is the regular, later, ‘lighter’ sleeve photo, the image on the right is the sleeve for sale, ie darker and grainer. In fact this sleeve is the very darkest variation of this sleeve you can get, ie the left side of the faces are in complete darkness. Later attempts by the printers of the sleeve were made to ‘lighten up’ the photo image and to make the image more clear and less grainy.

2. the unusual matrix of 5 / 5,

3. the rear of the sleeve has the earlier incorrect ‘gotta’ spelling for the track ‘You really got a hold on me’. But on the label this is spelt correctly as ‘got a’.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front has an excellent glossy laminate. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained a good fresh white in colour, all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.

THE VINYL: is in near MINT condition, a possible one play only !, (a part from when I played it !). The vinyl has remained very dark and glossy and looks like NEW. It is made from the period, thick, heavy vinyl.

The matrix are:  XEX  447 – 5 N  and  XEX  448 – 5N, an  unusual matrix !

The mother / stampers are:  ‘ 3   OO ’ and   ‘ 3  O T ’.

THE AUDIO: is near MINT, a near perfect audio, the record vinyl lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in near MINT condition, side two is in excellent++ condition, with signs of very little play. The songs publishing credit for the track ‘Money’ is ‘Dominion / Belinda’, The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
