BEATLES UK – With the Beatles, medium size stereo logo.

PCS 3045 – original 1963 black and yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in original condition featuring:

1. a hard to find sleeve with a medium size stereo logo printed to the top right front. These sleeves were only around for a short time,

2. the sleeve to the rear features the later corrected spelling of ‘got a’ for the track ‘You really got a hold on me’, but on the record label on side two, this track is spelt ‘Gotta’ hold on me !,

3. on side two of the record label the publishing credits for the track ‘Money’ is printed as ‘Jobete’, this was an error and was soon corrected.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front is laminated. The two opening edges are in good clean condition. The spine is in very good++ condition and all the text can be read. The rear of the sleeve has remained very clean for its age. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. To the rear lower, middle part of the sleeve there is evidence of some sticker removal, but it doesn’t notice much as no printed text has been lost. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. A very clean sleeve for its age. There is a 10mm tear to one side of the opening edge and some other small ‘nicks’ to the opening edges. Theres NO pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD: side one is in near excellent condition, side two is in very good++ condition. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix  nos. are: YEX  110 – 2  and  YEX  111 – 2,

The mother / stampers are: ‘  4  A   T  ’  and  ‘ 2  R H ’.

THE AUDIO: is very good++, it plays with some light ‘ticks’ heard hear and there, but with little in the way of crackle. The record plays well with a loud and clear period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent+ condition, the letters ‘ K T ’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
