ULTRA RARE PROMOTIONAL Compact 33 EP

The Capitol Souvenir Record (Capitol SPRO-2905) issued in 1965 to celebrate the grand opening of Capitol Records 3rd U.S. pressing plant in Jacksonville Illinois.

The Compact 33 (played at 33 1/3 SPEED) features snippets of 15 Capitol artists, including the Beatles, Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, among others! It may have been given to executives of Capitol or perhaps as a free gift during tours of the new facility. It is unknown how many were actually pressed.

ALMOST EVERYTHING IS MINT OR VG+ AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO PUT A CONSERVATIVE GRADE ON ALL.
