Description
Up for auction is a copy of Beatles VI by The Beatles, released in 1965 on Parlophone, cat no CPCS 104. This is a UK copy pressed for export, but sadly all is not as it seems. The cover is a real UK-manufactured copy (with some issues of its own), however, the album itself is a US-manufactured Apple pressing from the early 1970s.
Condition: the cover has had two chunks taken out of it from the top left & top right. These have been “filled-in” with colour reprints in a not-entirely-convincing way, but it’s better than nothing. There are a few laminate thumb creases to the front & some staining to the rear, but no significant damage apart from those two large cut corners. The vinyl is in great condition, but I’m not sure it belongs with this cover…. G/EX. Priced accordingly!
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
