BEATLES ON VJ RECORDS # 498 . RARE 1ST PRESSING WITH NAME MISPELLED WITH TWO T'S. "ASK ME WHY" BACKED WITH "PLEASE PLEASE ME". IN BRUCE SPIZERS "BEATLES ON VEEJAY" BOOK THIS IS VERSION VJ498.01, THIN TYPE VERSION, WITH "ARP" INITIALS IN TRAIL OFF. THIS IS THE 1ST 45 PRESSED AND RELEASED BY THE BEATLES IN FEB. OF 1963. THERE WERE JUST A FEW THOUSAND AT MOST PRESSED IN 1963. THIS IS THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER OF THE VJ 498 45. THE RECORD IS IN THE ORIGINAL VEEJAY SLEEVE. VINYL HAS LOT'S OF LUSTRE AND SHEEN IT IS VERY CLEAN WITH JUST A FEW LIGHT SCUFFS, VINYL IS AT LEAST A VG+ OR BETTER ON BOTH SIDES (CLOSER TO VG++), LABEL ON "PLEASE" SIDE IS VERY CLEAN ABOUT VG+, "ASK ME" SIDE LABEL IS VG OR BETTER WITH A LITTLE MORE WEAR. VERY CLEAN PLAYING AND LOOKING COPY. I HAVE A VERY REASONABLY AND LOW RESERVE ON THIS RECORD. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK.
