THE VINYL:   EXCELLENT

HAS HAIRLINES, A FEW SOFT SCUFFS AND SEVERAL MILD SCRATCHES, BUT THESE DON'T SOUND AND IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY WITH NO STICKS OR JUMPS, IT DOES HAVE VERY OCCASIONAL BUT VERY SOFT CLICKS AND MINOR SOFT CRACKLES ONLY PROMINENT IN QUIETER SECTIONS. NO WRITING ON THE ULTRA CLEAN LABELS. HAS VERY FEW SPINDLE MARKS AND VERY LITTLE SPINDLE WEAR OR LABEL SCRATCHES.

THE COVER:    VERY GOOD+

 HAS THE USUAL SURFACE WEAR. (I'VE NEVER FOUND A PURE WHITE ONE). SOME EDGE CREASES, SOME AGEING ON SLEEVE. HAS A COUPLE OF INDENTATIONS. (see photos) IT HAS VERY LITTLE RING WEAR. SOME MINOR CORNER WEAR/BUMPS, A LITTLE EDGE WEAR / SPINE WEAR AND THE SPINE IS GOOD AND READABLE. FLIPBACKS ARE CLEAN, COMPLETE AND SECURE. SLIGHTLY GRUBBY ON THE REAR. NO SPLITS. NO SELLOTAPE, NO WRITING. (see photos). 

It does have a retailers 'ink stamp' on the inside of the sleeve 'Creases Music Stores, Walton, Liverpool' (see photos). 

THE INNER SLEEVE:   VERY GOOD+

Original black inner sleeves (die-cut centres one side) are slightly creased and one centre has a small (6mm) tear. No splits. No sellotape. No other major stains or writing.

POSTER:   VERY GOOD++

Original poster. No significant splits. No sellotape. No other major stains or writing.

PHOTOS:   VERY GOOD++

Original 4 photos. No rips or tears. No sellotape. No other major stains or writing. They all have a small pin holes at the top and bottom centre.

Strictly Graded Using RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However, if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

Post & Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging. All items over £20 are sent ‘Tracked' and I always obtain 'Proof of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners or similar.
