'WHITE ALBUM ' DOUBLE-LP on UK Apple Label Serial No. 0402137
Stereo Cat No PCS7067/8
This copy bears the Matrix No. XEX 709-1 in the run-out groove (dead wax) of Side 1, together with the letters 'LR' and no. 1, whilst on Side 2 the Matrix No is XEX 710-1 with 'HM' and '1'. On Side 3, the matrix no. in the dead wax is 'XEX711-1' plus '5' and 'LU', whilst on Side 4 the matrix is 'XEX 712-1' plus '2' and 'PD'.
The item is complete with the four colour pictures of each Beatle which are all in Excellent Coondition and the Vinyl comes in the standard black inner sleeves.
I would rate the vinyl as EX- using the RECORD COLLECTOR GUIDE to Condition Rating. There are minimal marks and small scratches to all sides. There are no stickers or writing on the label. There is minimal evidence of spindleware.
The outer sleeve is in tact. There are no tears or splits, but there is a little creasing and some evidence of wear along the opening edge. As the outer sleeve is literally 'white' (of course) there is minor evidence of aging and handling over the years but there are no blemishes or writing to the outer sleeve. I would also rate the condition of the sleeve as EX-.
All in all, the item looks as though it has been played and enjoyed down the years but it has been kept properly and cared for.
