Description
This is the DMM German pressing of The Beatles' White Album released in 1985. This remastered German issue is prized among audiophiles for its extraordinary audio quality. This album contains two white-colored vinyl discs (see photo), housed in a cardboard cover labeled "Pressung Weiss" (German for "white pressing"). This double LP has a total run time of 93:33 minutes and is a numbered edition, with the serial number 104235 blind-stamped on the front cover. The non-inked album title "THE BEATLES" is embossed also on the front cover.
These two particular vinyl records have been minimally played in the 40 years since their release; the records have been carefully preserved cool and dry throughout these decades and remain in exceptionally nice condition.
The four insert 8"x11" color photo prints of John, Paul, George, and Ringo remain in beautiful condition.
The folded inserted 2-foot-by-3-foot photo-poster (with lyrics to the songs on the reverse of the poster) also remains in nice condition.
The cardboard cover does show some exterior shelf wear, including shelf-rubbing and very minor edge scraping, but overall is fully intact, spine titles perfectly legible, and continues to protect the contents well; the cover is conservatively graded at G+.
