WHITE ALBUM
First press Apple 1968
original UK issue
This auction is for an earliest issue of the so called "WHITE ALBUM" double of the Beatles. It has been in the family for donkey's years. The sleeve loads from the top which i have been told is the earliest for later on sleeves were designed as normal side loaders.
It is the earliest limited issue as testified by the number 0167021, which as I have been informed by a dealer is within the first few days of issue and a unique number. I will start it at £0.99 and it will find its own value for the winner.
The vinyls have PMC 7067 and 7068 on the labels. The vinyls are well used with hairlines and one scuff line. Also three white marks on side 1 which cannot be felt at all? All four sides have the ending -1 in the machine numbers nearer the label.
There is also a poster included which has split seams so might need to be sellotaped together for reinforcement. It has lyrics to the rear side.
I have no player so cannot comment on replay and is sold as such.
