CONDITION : 

SIDE 1 = EXCELLENT-

Excellent- condition. Vinyl still has its shiny, reflective sheen. One small, minor surface scuff, which causes no sound effect. Otherwise very few visible marks at all, even under a strong light. A few very minor spindle marks, but these are hard to see, and only visible in a certain light. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Immaculate, clean labels.

SIDE 2 = EXCELLENT

Excellent condition. Vinyl still has its shiny reflective sheen. In normal light, no surface marks at all are visible. Under a very strong light, there are a few very light hairline wispy marks, from where the LP has been taken out of the original inner sleeve over the years. Some visible spindle marks, but these are hard to see, and only visible in a certain light. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Immaculate, clean labels.

SIDE 3 = EXCELLENT

Excellent condition. Vinyl still has its shiny, reflective sheen. Even under a strong light, there are hardly any surface marks at all. No visible spindle marks. No skips, jumps, sticking, scuffs, warps, or writing on labels. Immaculate, clean labels.

SIDE 4 = EXCELLENT

NUMBERED, TOP-OPENING, GATEFOLD SLEEVE = EXCELLENT

Still in crisp condition. Individually numbered - No. 0454095. "The BEATLES" in embossed text. Fully laminated on all sides. Top opening first UK issue, with flipbacks to sides. No seam splits. No writing anywhere. No creases. Spine has some minor lamination wear in places, but all text still clearly legible.

PHOTO PRINT SET = EXCELLENT

All four photos present, with no writing, no tears, no creasing, no discolouration, or any other defects, to any of them.

POSTER = VERY GOOD+

Original poster is present and in Very Good+ condition. Some general wear - especially to the folding creases. One 6cm seam split at the edge of the folding crease just above the lyrics to Happiness Is A Warm Gun. No writing anywhere. Some slight age-related discolouration in places.

ORIGINAL BLACK APPLE INNER SLEEVES = EXCELLENT-

Both original issue black inner sleeves are present, and both are in Excellent- condition. No writing, tears, or seam splits anywhere. Some creasing present.

Condition of discs as stated above. Lustrous vinyl. This record has been taken very good care of. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Superb stereo sound quality throughout, with no audible issues. A superb sounding double-LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Condition of gatefold sleeve as stated above. 

Condition of original photo prints and poster as stated above.

Supplied in the two original plain BLACK Apple inner sleeves. Condition as stated above.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
