1968 Beatles White Album. 1st UK Pressing. PMC 7067 / 7068 Mono.
The Beatles original 1968 UK 1st MONO pressing of 'The Beatles' LP aka the 'White Album'. Very early Mono release of this stunning album. The dark green Apple labels feature the 'Sold in the UK....' statement but OMIT the 'An E.M.I. Recoding' statement. The omitance of this statement shows this album to be a VERY, VERY FIRST PRESSING as later '1st issues' do feature this text statement!
The cover is embossed with 'THE BEATLES' and is individually numbered (No. 0206729). The vinyl fits into the sleeve from the top. The four original pictures are included but no poster. The inner sleeves are white.
The matrix numbers are the earliest possible:
Side 1: XEX 709 - 1, Side 2: XEX 710 - 1, Side 3: XEX 711 - 1, Side 4: XEX 712 - 1
The mother and stamper numbers are: Side 1: 5 HL, Side 2: 3 HH, Side 3: 1 GH, Side 4: 1 GL
Vinyl Condition: The vinyl is in GOOD+ condition.
Label Condition: The labels are in VERY GOOD- condition.
Cover Condition: The TOP OPENING cover grades as VERY GOOD- condition.
Picture Condition: The four individual pictures of The Beatles grade as VERY GOOD+ condition.
