Description
For auction the Beatles classic 1968 UK 1st pressing (STEREO) double Vinyl album ... The white album! serial number No, 0318734 with its original black inner sleeves!
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!
Condition. the gatefold laminated TOP LOADING flipbacked sleeve is in a VERY GOOD PLUS TO EX MINUS CONDITION clean overall and would grade higher except a for a small mark causing loss of laminate on the front panel, this is the only blemish on a otherwise near perfect sleeve! (see photo) the spine is clear and both loading edges are sharp and unthumbed and there is no creasing! and the embossed BEATLES LOGO and serial number are clear to the front panel! the word stereo is printed to the top right rear panel, making this the original and correct sleeve!
The two original black inners are present, and both grade VERY GOOD condition.
All four apple labels hold the SOLD IN THE UK etc. text and are in a superb condition and easily grade EX
VINYLS. SIDE 1. YEX 709-1 5 G A G is in a clean EXCELLENT MINUS condition with a nice original shine!
SIDE 2. YEX 710-1 G G M H is also in a very nice condition as side 1. EXCELLENT
SIDE 3. YEX 711-1 2 G O G grades EXCELLENT nice and clean and playtested with no problems!
SIDE 4. YEX 712-2 2 G R P grades EXCELLENT MINUS all four sides have been play tested and sounded great in STEREO on my TECHNICS DECK and CLASS AA amp with MISSION SPEAKERS, and a nice overall shine to the vinyl is retained, all discs lie flat on the turntable with no warp or dish effect! ... these discs are in a very nice clean shape with a handful of light markings overall!
i use uk record collector mag gradings for vinyl which are .. EXCELLENT .. the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. the cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
overall then a nice original uk 1968 1st stereo pressing of the white album which the previous owner had from new! .. please note that the discs will be packed separate from the sleeve to prevent seam splits!
Overall a nice original example of the hard to find STEREO version of this classic album with a nice number, and buy with confidence.... i usually get my gradings right (see feedback!) ...or your money back!
All vinyl sent in a heavy duty mailer with two stiffners next working day after payment clears! P&P UK 1ST CLASS RECORDED £4.50 EUROPE (REGISTERED AIRMAIL) £15.00 WORLDWIDE (REGISTERED AIRMAIL) £20.00 (PLEASE NOTE THAT ROYAL MAIL PRICES HAVE GONE UP BY 20% AS OF 30.4.12)
