*BEATLES* WHITE ALBUM - UK STEREO 2LP *PROOF SLEEVE ???

Description

THE BEATLES :- White Album - UK Apple PCS 7067 / 68 Stereo 2LP

This fantastic album is just one of a lovely collection of Beatle items I have purchased from an ex label licensing employee at EMI Records , Manchester Square , London W1

This two album was pressed in approximately 1976 - at first I thought it was just another virtually Mint 2LP White Album from the collection mentioned above - but then noticed there was no embossed 'The Beatles' on the front of the sleeve , and upon opening the Gatefold Sleeve saw that there was no information or snaps printed ! also , there is no print on the sleeve spine - The rear of the sleeve has an EMI 'Do Not Remove' sticker attached . I asked the previous owner of the album about this , but he could only remember that in around 1976 , when the Beatles EMI catalogue was being repressed , there were just a few copies of the album available to office staff ....

Copies of EMI records were available to employees working on current releases , with stickers attatched to sleeves or labels stating 'Factory Sample' or 'Manufacturers Property'

A genuinely 'rare' item , I do not think many of these blank sleeve copies were made ..........

The discs have barely any signs of use , with no marks or wear evident .......... There is no label wear , barely a  trace of spindle use : MINT minus condition.

The non - laminated sleeve is  bright , flat and crisp ...... with very light use only : EXCELLENT condition.

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount are from repeat buyers ( many thanks !) .... and in the event of genuine complaints will remedy the situation as soon as possible
