ARTIST: THE BEATLES

TITLE: THE BEATLES aka 'THE WHITE ALBUM'

LABEL: APPLE PMC 7067

Great copy of the iconic 'White Album'. Original top opening UK first press on Apple PMC 7067 (No 0168029) with matrix numbers:

XEX-709-1; XEX710-1; XEX 711-1; XEX 712-1. The mother/stampers are WL, C1,33,3,10; A11, 3; 1, H ; 1, H.

Overall this copy rates EX- to EX (The photos are MINT and retain the paper spacer which separated one set of four from the next for ease of packaging at the pressing plant)

The VINYL is at least EX- for all four sides. It is not MINT because there a number of light non-sounding marks and some light hairlines but none of these have an affect on the audio.

The LABELS are all EX.

The INNER SLEEVES look new to me they are certainly at least EX - they are the black die-cut as original..

The top opening GATEFOLD SLEEVE is EX- with no major defects retaining most of its original brightness. sharp edges and clear spine. There's a light crease where the cover has bent round the LP and a small dink on the rear. The inside is EX with pristine flipbacks.

The PHOTOS are MINT.

The POSTER is GOOD+. its all there but there are tape marks and seam splits.

An all round collectible copy of a true Beatles classic.

BUYER INFORMATION

I am a collector and I only sell records from my personal collection. I aim to be totally objective about the records I sell. However please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT. Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. The item will not magically transform into a mint copy. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.

Check out my feedback and you will feel secure in bidding but please note I cannot guarantee to describe every detail of the record and cover BUT the grading will reflect the general, actual condition. ONLY if the grading does not reflect the overall condition of the item will I refund. But be assured that if there is any major defect not mentioned by me I offer a no quibble guarantee. I do not refund return postage costs.
