BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM – Very Low number – complete
This is an early numbered (154124) copy of the “White Album”. This is a stereo release, catalogue no PCS7067/8. I am selling this on behalf of my sister who bought the album new in '68.
VINYL
The matrix numbers are Side 1 – YEX709 -1, Side 2 - YEX710 - 1, Side 3 – YEX711 – 2 and Side 4 YEX712 - 2. This is not a mint copy, with all 4 sides showing surface marking (sides 3 and 4 have considerable surface marking) but no deep scratches. But generally there is still a shine to the vinyl. Unfortunately I cannot verify the audio quality of the album as I do not have a record player. However I do know that the LP has not been played in well over 20 years!
LABELS
The Apple labels on all four sides are generally in excellent condition - no stickers or writing, with some minor spindle marks but not excessive. There is a minor blemish on Side 1 label but it does not detract from the overall quality.
SLEEVE
The original laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd laminated gatefold sleeve, with ‘THE BEATLES’ embossed and the unique number 154124, is in good condition. It has maintained its glossiness and the spine text is fully legible. There are some creases in the laminate and some ageing evident on the front (it is nearly 41 years old!). The inner paper sleeves are original with the “IMPORTANT NOTICE Apple Copyright..” notice printed on both. They are generally in good shape with some creasing but no tears.
INSERTS
ALL the original inserts are included:
POSTER – in good condition with no pinholes or tape. Only minor tears on some of the folds. It has the ‘lipstick kiss’ and handwritten “I love you” as part of the design.
COLOUR PRINTS – all photos of the Fab 4 are in excellent condition, still very shiny with no pinholes, tape or writing. The white spacer is also still intact.
