Sorry to see it go, but needs must...Cover is exc with some slight yellowing in places, b ut spine etc intact and good, Vinyl has a few light playing-marks, but is superb and dark on ALL four sides...: as it is MONO, it plays divinely...Poster is MINT, hardly unfolded...also the PHOTOGRAPHS are mint, great condition, so grading the ensemble as EXC+..* PLEASE ASK FOR CLOSE-UP PICS IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BIDDING! - I will attempt to photograph the detail.. BUT it is hard to truly capture a black surface, in my experience..( fab four, rolling stones lp, kinks, beat 1960s, uk beat groups, john lennon, paul mccartney, ringo starr, george harrison, a hard days night, rubber soul lp, revolver stereo, abbey road, emi studios, pop memorabilia, rare vinyl lps in excellent condition, etc) Will post to UK for £3.50 in a cardboard envelope/mailer...TO USA: £8, to eu countries: £5.50 .I can accept UK personal cheque from UK buyer OR PayPal from overseas-nonUK buyer: prefer NO PayPal from UK, please, sorry, but it costs dear and prefer to avoid the hassle if local buyer!. All bids final.
On 06-Dec-06 at 16:42:49 GMT, seller added the following information:Just to clarify the condition of the vinyl, as I wish to avoid post-auction controversy etc: the LPs are both in fine condition- there are some light marks on the playing-surfaces but they play exceptionally well, especially being MONO, which were always the original and BETTER mixes of the Beatles original recordings...the vinyl is good and dark... they are NOT mint/unplayed condition ( so please do NOT bid if you want a virgin copy of this famous Beatles LP/LPs...!!), but they are as described, in EXC condition as per RECORD COLLECTOR grading...I know this can be subjective, but I have NOT seen a copy in such good condition recently- the photographs and lyrics poster really ARE mint condition, though- thanks and good bidding!)
On 10-Dec-06 at 23:27:39 GMT, seller added the following information:A LITTLE MORE DETAIL DUE TO A FEW QUERIES: This item , Beatles White album/ LP is the ORIGINAL UK 1st PRESSING- Dark green Apple label- "Sold in UK, subject to...etc " on label., Matt black inner sleeves are top-loading, as described and have NO SPLITS...both LP's are integral to this double cover and are MONO which represents the Beatles' -mixed version ( Stereo mix was done by EMI engineers..)..the Matrix numbers are as stated in my original description.Cover has a little rub -wear along opening, and a couple af 2cm creases(not v noticeable, though) elsewhere, but VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, YELLOWING (less than mentioned in description) : a really nice solid copy which I am sorry to let go...Thanks.
