Description
For auction is a rare early 2nd UK Mono Issue of The Beatles second album With the Beatles. Identifiable by the Belinda Dominion credit on track B7 and the corrected label and cover of ‘You really got a hold on me’. 1N/1N matrices. ZT tax code
Original second press sleeve in truly excellent condition - unmarked, unstained and all edges fully intact.
Original Use Emitex inner sleeve in excellent condition
Both labels very clean with minimal spindle marks. Visually both sides are excellent with hardly a mark to be seen.. Playback on side 1 is also excellent with only very occasional light crackle between tracks but no sticks skips or jumps.
Track 1 on side 2 - Roll over Beethoven- has some skips, but this is not due to any mark on the record. Many early copies had this same pressing fault on this track. I have another copy which skips in exactly the same place. I gather that many copies were returned at the time. Apart from this issue side 2 plays as well as side 1.
