Description
The Beatles self titled double album, colloquially known as "The White Album"
This stereo copy is in top loading sleeve numbered 0495132 (note 7 digits, later reduced to 6), embossed "THE BEATLES" and has "Stereo" printed on the top right rear surface. Whilst fully laminated, the lamination is detached along the spine. Very little other defects and the inside surfaces are EX otherwise. Overall it is in VG condition.
The lyric poster is included, as is 1 original black inner.
Photographs are missing.
The vinyl has the "Sold in the UK..." etc wording across the top of the labels and omits the "An EMI Recording" above the 33 1/3 mid left of each label.
Visually all 4 sides have some very light surface marks which would be expected not to cause any issues other than the occasional "pop". On the whole this is true on sides 1,3 & 4. However on Side 2 there are 3 one rotation skips (2 during Dear Prudence, and 1 during Piggies. Closer inspection with a jeweler's loupe it is hard to see the likely cause - maybe microscopic debris stuck in the groove?
Stamped matrices are noted elsewhere in this listing, and the mother/stamper indicators are:
