Mono Recording PMC 7067/8. Apple Records UK Pressing.Matrix number XEX709/710/711/712 -1
When you bare in mind that this album sold a 100,000 in its first week then it helps to illustrate just how rare this album is. Number 0005926 is a true rarity and is very high on all Beatles collectors wants list.
The sleeve is in reasonable condition. The laminate on the spine is cracked in places, it shows slight signs of wear on the corners and just the merest hint of ringwear starting to show. Otherwise its intact with no rips or tears , straight uncreased edges and no writing. The inside is in excellent condition. The embossed "BEATLES" on the front is fine but the the "E" and "S" are a little grubby otherwise its clean and laminate is intact. Overall I would grade it EX-.
The 4 photos are MINT. No writing or marks . The poster/Lyric sheet has the odd crease but is not split and in Excellent condition.
The records have been played and have surface marks and the odd mark. I've played them through and it does have a hiss in the quieter parts and the a few clicks here and there. Nice crisp mono sound which sounds much better then it looks. Visual grade VG but I think most people would grade as VG+ on listening to them.
The record still retains its original black inners and the labels have relatively few spindle marks but do have the name of the original owner's name on them. "Chris" is written on one side of each record.
I've tried to honest as I can about this rare record. Its the earliest number I've come across, most are tucked away in collections and very few appear on the open market these days.

On closer inspection the laminate has just the slightest crack starting to appear around the "E" and "S" but its only really noticeable under very close inspection but I thought it best to bring it to people's attention.price rating
