On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "The Beatles" (more commonly known as 'The White Album') and is an ORIGINAL UK Apple 1st Pressing on the 1st Press DARK Apple labels!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER BEATLES LPs OF ALL TIME AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE APPLE LABEL, AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS INCREDIBLE DOUBLE LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL HUGE POSTER, 2-RECORDS, 4 COLOUR 'PRINTS', 1 SPACER, 2 BLACK APPLE INNERS, AND 'NUMBERED' (0445667) TOP OPENING GATEFOLD COVER!!!!

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSING!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR 'IN-HOUSE' USE BY EMI / APPLE THEMSELVES (FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES), TAKEN BY EMPLOYEES AT THE TIME (BY PERMISSION OF THE MANAGEMENT), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!!  THEY WERE NEARLY ALWAYS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - AND ARE NOW VERY VERY HARD TO FIND!!!!  AND OF COURSE, ALTHOUGH YOU CAN NEVER BE 100% CERTAIN THAT THEY WERE ON THIS DOUBLE LP FROM NEW (UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FULL LPs HISTORY!) - IN THIS CASE, I HAVE EXAMINED THE STICKERS VERY CAREFULLY INDEED - AND THEY ARE 100% GENIUNE (NOT RE-PRINTS!), AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF 'RE-STICKING'!!!!  THE STICKERS ARE ALSO 100% FLAT TO THE TOUCH TOO - LEADING ME TO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN ON THIS LP FROM NEW, AND THE STICKERS THEMSELVES ARE DEFINITELY 100% GENIUNE IN ALL RESPECTS!!!!  BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS DOUBLE LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS DOUBLE LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION!)!!!!

THIS DOUBLE LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, WITH ULTRA RARE 1/1/1/1 MATRIXES (MOST DONT!)!!!!  SOME PEOPLE ODDLY BELIEVE THE EMI TEXT ON THE LABELS MAKES A DIFFERENCE (I HAVE NEVER HELD THIS VIEW - ESPECIALLY WHEN A LOW NUMBERED '0002902' COPY RECENTLY SOLD WITH THIS TEXT ON EVERY LABEL!) - BUT IT IS THERE TO SEE, AND I NEED NOT MENTION IT FURTHER.  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION NOW!!!!  THE POSTER IS IN SUPERB CONDITION (WITH NO DAMAGE AT ALL!), THE 4 'COLOUR PRINTS' ARE SIMPLY SUPERB (THEY LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM THE COVER - AND I HAVE EVEN TAKEN A PICTURE OF THE BACK OF THEM!), THE BLACK INNERS ARE SIMPLY SUPERB (SEE REFERENCE BELOW), THE RECORDS ARE VERY NICE INDEED - AND EVEN THE GATEFOLD COVER IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION, HAVING VERY SHINY LAMINATE, NO 'DIRTYNESS' TO THE 'EMBOSSED' 'THE BEATLES, THE CORRECT 'STEREO' PRINTED ON THE REVERSE, AND THE FRONT NUMBER LOOKS LIKE IT WAS PRINTED YESTERDAY - WITH NO INK FADING AT ALL!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP EVEN HAS ITS ORIGINAL BLANK 'SPACER' USED TO SEPARATE EACH GROUP OF 4 PRINTS IN THE PACKING PROCESS!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!   THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DARK APPLE LABELS, 1ST PRESS 1/1/1/1 MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT, BLACK APPLE INNER SLEEVES, 1ST PRESS POSTER, 1ST PRESS 4 'COLOUR PRINTS', 1ST PRESS 'SPACER', AND 1ST PRESS TOP OPENING 'NUMBERED' (0445667) FULLY LAMINATED FLIPBACK 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' STEREO COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-1 (the VERY 'Earliest' possible!)!!!!  The Cat. No is PCS 7067/68 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press DARK Apple labels (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer STEREO 1st Pressing (most were Monos)!!!!  PLEASE ALSO NOTE - that this Double LP has the FULL LENGTH version of 'Helter Skelter' (with Ringos 'blisters on my fingers!' ending) - and this is exclusive to STEREOs ONLY (Monos dont have this AT ALL!)!!!!  There are also many MANY other mix differences too, which are exclusive to STEREOs ONLY - which makes this ULTRA RARE STEREO 1st Press mix far FAR superior to the Mono version!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

BOTH record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO nasty feelable scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  ALL SIDES RETAIN EVERY BIT OF THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINE LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the records are almost as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  They play with NO skips, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  For some reason there is also some interference for a few revolutions at the VERY beginning of 'Revolution 1', and a few isolated touches elsewhere.  However, as expected 99% of this Double LP plays BRILLIANTLY - and of course there is absolutely NO sticks, and NO jumps AT ALL!!!!  The records must grade Very Good++ if not better - though visually they probably look even better still!!!!  A VERY NICE SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  BOTH records also come in what looks to be their ORIGINAL 1st Press Black inner sleeves which are in absolutely BRILLIANT condition - with NO edge splits, NO centre hole splits, some typical slight 'ruffling', and NO repairs either!!!!  However - I am undecided about these inner sleeves (and I mean that sincerely - I really dont know).  They have EVERY SINGLE correct characteristic (one centre hole, flipback construction, etc!), and clearly both have some age to them (so they certainly ARENT recent replacements!)!!!!  However the paper just looks a bit 'different' to ones I have seen before - though only marginally so!!!!  So they very well could be 100% GENIUNE 1st Press inner sleeves (and look BRILLIANT!), and they certainly ARENT a recent replacement - but I just cannot be 100% certain (sorry!).  The ULTRA RARE Poster, 4 Colour 'Prints' & 'Spacer' are all in absolutely SUPERB condition (see pictures) and it is VERY doubtful if they have EVER left the cover!!!!  A SUPERB SET OF INSERTS!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold TOP Opening FULLY Laminated Flipback 'Numbered' Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from laminate ONLY wear - and side words PERFECT with NO splits!), NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, only slight corner wear, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, barely ANY yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The TOP opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the laminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, PERFECT flipbacks, STUNNING shiny 'mirror-like' laminate, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing AT ALL!!!!  The '0445667' number on the cover front is EXACTLY 'as printed' back in 1968 and has absolutely NO wear AT ALL - and the raised lettering of 'The Beatles' on the cover front is absolutely AWESOME with NO grubbyness and NO dirt AT ALL!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
