NOTES
Up for auction here is a French first release, thats vinyl was pressed in France, while covers were printed in Germany. In view of the historical fact that France was the worldwide second nation to publish the White Album, two weeks prior to the U.K., you're bidding on a real low number, namely # 64,977.
As a first press, record is housed in a top opener gatefold cover , with its original black inner sleeves, which, in France (like in Germany), came without cut-out holes. All matricies end on -21/-21/-21/-21 (a "-1" with "2" as matrix indicator for "France"), and it certainly has all four glossy John Kelly color portraits as well as the While Hamilton collage poster with lyrics on back. Vinyl, cover and original B;ack inner sleeves are in an excellent thru near mint condition, whereas portraits and poster grade near mint / MINT MINUS!
This Apple Pathe Marconi publication of the White Album is meanwhile hard to find, like (again: meanwhile) many French first pressings. It shows up in a overall superb condition, it is complete, and was properly stored during last decades. You are about to obatin a 46 years old original copy in a splendid condition.
Copy is numbered with a "real" low # 64,977. And although the sequential numbering of the covers remains somewhat of a mystery, collectors should bear in mind that numbering in U.K. and Germany were completely independent on each other, regarding both its sequencing and numbers themselves, hence both countries started with "000001".
Germany is the worldwide first country releasing the White Album, and German pressings came as stereo mixes only. Provided the fact that the worldwide first press, Germany's stereo version, was sold at least 500,000 copies within the first months...
... you have a guess regarding the "real" number of any White Album published outside Germany. That is why we consider one of our German copies -#000364 for instance- a real "under 1,000" album. A thing discussed time and again with other collectors - but that's the good thing with "collecting the Fabs", it's more or less a "science", right?

1st Class Packaging
We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset. Remarks As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after.
Spine is in an almost perfect condition. It's 100% readable, see photos.
The fully laminated cover is completely glossy, made of strong cardboard. Small seam split on bottom, small cut on top of cover's back. Scuffed edges. Absolutely clean insertion slot, no cuts, nothing. Slight signs of ring wear, more or less credited to the "White nature" of the jacket, when, after 46 years(!), color starts to something yellow. Silver sticker on back. Cover's inside is glossy, too, and clearly EX+. Rest gradedEX.
All four labels are absolutely clean. Bright, shiny Green, and White, respectively. No writings, stains, tears, or spots. Spindle hole marks. EX/EX+.
Vinyl is shiny, both sides. Hairlines, most of them on B-Side.
All four John Kelly color portraits look like brand-new. Straight edges, no stains, no rips, or cuts, bright colors, MINT MINUS The While Hamilton collage poster comes in a near mint quality.
Due to the vinyl's superb condition, this record has not been graded audible.
