Description
BEATLES: White Album, UK APPLE PCS 7067/68. This is a very very rare UK transitinal pressing, with side-opening numbered sleeve, fully laminated w embrossed 'beatles'. Discs are the first variation Dark green apple labels, but without the 'sold in the UK' text on labels. Probably the very rarest UK pressing of them all, made for a short transitional period, explaning how rarely copies like this turn up. Matrix endings from side 1 to 4 are: -1, -1, -1, -2. Same heavy vinyl as the usual top-opening 1st issue. Same brilliant sound. Discs are both in gleaming Near MINT condition, having seen barely any play. 2-3 tiny surface hairlines are spread over the 4 sides. Beautiful vinyl! Comes with 4 prints, poster, and original white paper inners. Cover is graded EXCELLENT or EXCELLENT+, see pics. You may not ever be able to track down a similar conditioned copy of this rare 1969-1970 UK transitional pressing. So Good luck bidding...
GRADINGS
I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+, unless of considerable rarity.
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
SHIPPING
I ship in strong, brand new cruciform shipping boxes with padding inside. The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit. IF YOU HAVE INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS regarding shipping, I will always do my best to coorporate.
The shipping qoutes are for 'regular' LPs. If an LP is extra heavy and cannot be shipped at the normal rate I have made the note 'Heavy LP, ships at the price of 2'.
