This one of the anomaly sets in that the Side 1 & 2 disc has "An E.M.I. Recording" printed at the 9 O'clock position on the labels and Sides 3 & 4 do not have the E.M.I. printing.  This may be a mismatch (which is very doubtful) or it IS just another of the many items that were being rushed into service to feed the Beatles Population which was always starving for more!!!  All four sides when observed in direct white light show ultra light paper & general scuffing which is minimal to all.  The rainbow sheen has been muted on all sides but the thick vinyl beautiful regardless.

SIDE 1 is VISUALLY GRADED NEAR MINT MINUS and is PLAY GRADED as MINT MINUS as we begin into the dead was before track 1 there is no sizzle/crackle to be heard in lead in to Back In The USSR which plays flawlessly as it continues playing clear and clean through Dear Prudence and Glass Onion...Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da and Wild Honey Pie play very much as well as the others...No clicks, tiny tics, crackle or sizzle, and No Jumps..The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill also plays without any hint of background sounds of any variety and the quietest passages before of after tracks are near silent. While My Guitar Gently Weeps plays without noise and at full volume produces no crackle or distortion...and plays clean and as we enter the dead wax before Happiness Is A Warm Gun we hear two distinct pops, the second of which pops as the first words are sung, from here it clears out through to the end of this side much in the same manner as the earlier tracks  I BELIVE THESE TWO POPS MAY BE ABLE TO BE CLEANED IN A PRO CLEANER THAT USES OCILATING HOT FLUID

SIDE 2 is VISUALLY GRADED EXCELLENT and is PLAY GRADED as EXCELLENT PLUS before the lyric starts in Martha My Dear we here a single, very quick jump that does not do so much as nick a note, enetering the middle of the 1st verse there another very fast jump which loses have of the word "done" in the line "see what you've done"-it otherwise plays perfectly throught the song without any other type of background sound..as we enter I'm So Tired we get to the first line of the furst chorus and on the last word of the line "but I know what you will do-o", it is the dash in do-d that is the final fast jump, it merely extends the "do-o" withint knocking the song out of synch.... Blackbird play's beautifully though on one of three plays it gave a bit of distortion at a higher volume on the word BLACKBIRD only...interesting.... Piggies play's perfect and unsullied by noise, Rocky Raccoon is silent in the dead wax intro and plays through without any distractions, Don't Pass Me By plays flawlessly and without any background sounds, Why Don't We Do It In The Road and I Will play like they are being played for the first time, perfection....and in Julia there is a series of 3 extremely tiny, quiet repeating tics (very small clicks) and then as we follow the last verse the 3 quiet tics repaet....none of these is even remotely a problem to the overall listening of this set..

SIDE 3  is VISUALLY GRADED NEAR MINT MINUS  and is PLAY GRADED as NEAR MINT MINUS as Birthday plays clean throughout without any tics, clicks, pops or sizzle/crackle....and there is clear play through until the end of Yer Blue, Mother Natures Son and EGSTHEFMAMM which plays perfectly without distortion or background noise at a nice loud clip, silence in the dead wax proceeds Sexie Sadie which also plays through with clean perfection and with No background noise Helter Skelter is one of the more interesting Mono tracks here and it plays flawlessy and without ANY background noise

SIDE 4  is VISUALLY GRADED  NEAR MINT MINUS and are PLAY GRADED as NEAR MINT MINUS which is graded the minus only for the ultra quiet few tics during Cry Baby Cry...  As we head into Revolution 1 there is NO background noise at all, only clean clear music played loud without distortion. Honey Pie, Savoy Truffle and Cry Baby Cry play phenomenaly with 1 to 3 extremely quiet tics which were best heard through headphones.  Revolution 9 is, as it has always been, a dynamic excercise for you mind and spirit, for those who have never listened all the way through, you are missing something quite extraordinary indeed.  In this case it plays flawlessly as does Good Night

GARROD & LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD JACKET GRADES as EXCELLENT as it has NO ring wear and No seam Splits to the top loader design....the Title Seam is only slightly collapsed, far nicer than most in this regard as for ages I have kept a square of rigid cardboard in the gatefold to train the minor collapse to a more full edge.  The inside is clean, No writing and No ring or heavy handling wear.  The fold-overs are clean and undamaged

LABELS S1 thru S4 are GRADED EXCELLENT PLUS PLUS with NO writing or rips of any kind, very light wear at the spindle holes

BLACK INNER SLEEVES are GRADED as EXCELLENT with only slight, small folds and a few tiny tears with the usual handling wear, I have the LP's in lined white inners and have for years to avoid advancing any wear

POSTER is EXCELLENT lightly worn but untorn, folds are lightly worn but not split by any means, otherwise clean and appears to a USA print that was added back to the set                   

PHOTOS are MINT MINUS and very clean, No holes or tape residue and are original to the set
