OVERSTOCK ALERT!!!!
This week I have a large amount of overstock that needs to go! And there is some truly SUPERB items here! Of course - I will be doing my usual amount of auctions (all ending on Sunday) - but because I have so many extra items, I have decided to list the excess overstock! And these 'buy it now' listings come from 3 very different sources:-
1) An Ex Producer who worked for the BBC in the 1970s:- Items from this collection are generally MINT, usually Factory Samples (or promotional items), only played ONCE or twice - and some are even completely unplayed or sealed! Items from this collection are of the BEST condition I have ever seen!
2) Music I dont usually sell in my auctions:- Any type of music I dont usually sell in my auctions, I have decided to list as a buy it now.
3) Items that are EXTREMELY rare indeed and book VERY highly - but have a few issues. However ALL play through fine, and I have NOT listed anything that jumps or skips.
So in short - there are some truly SPECTACULAR items on my buy it now listings, and definitely NO dross AT ALL!!!!
DETAILS ABOUT GRADING & BACKGROUND ON MY BUY IT NOW AUCTIONS (Please read!)
Obviously it is in both my interest and the buyers interest to grade CORRECTLY! So I grade EVERYTHING standing on a chair directly under a 150 watt bulb which reveals everything! Therefore if I grade a record 'VG' - it does NOT mean it is 'covered in scuffing and marks' - it will still be a VERY clean looking record indeed, and often barely played! For example - if I hold a record under light and see a lovely black sheen, but a few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs, and 2 or 3 VERY light lines - I will still ONLY grade the record VG+. So whilst you shouldnt expect MINT from my 'VG' records - you should still expect a VERY clean & bright looking record indeed! And even my records graded only 'Good' or Good+' will be VERY presentable playable examples indeed! And if I list a record in the condition most LPs seem to be in today (namely covered in general light scuffing - but still plays through absolutely fine with a few crackles & pops) - then I would ONLY grade this record Fair or even Poor+. So I am very VERY strict on grading indeed - and almost NEVER use an Excellent grading unless the record looks virtually 'factory fresh' under light! PLEASE ALSO NOTE - obviously as there are a lot of buy it nows being listed, I have had no time to play every groove on every record (that would be impossible!), so I have given a visual grading + play checked sound quality in snippets. However it is very VERY easy to spot any sounding marks under light, and these were checked to make sure they did not jump or stick. That said - quite a few of the Buy It Nows I am listing look like they just came from the Factory and are in AMAZING condition! In short - if you buy one of my records, and expect the grade given you should be very pleasantly surprised indeed! And in the unlikely event of a problem, any purchase is also covered by a refund including postage.
I HAVE ALSO TRIED TO PRICE THESE RECORDS TO SELL - AND HAVE NOT SET THE 'BUY IT NOW' PRICE SLIGHTLY 'HIGH' HOPING THAT BEST OFFERS (USING THE EBAY 'BEST OFFER' FUNCTION) COME IN AT 'ABOUT THE RIGHT PRICE'.... I WANT TO GET THESE RECORDS SHIFTED QUICKLY! BE AWARE THOUGH - THAT SOME OF THESE ITEMS MAY WELL FLY OUT IMMEDIATELY AT THE 'BUY IT NOW' PRICE ALONE (AS THEY ARE PRICED UP VERY CHEAPLY INDEED - AND WELL BELOW PREVIOUS AUCTION PRICES!), SO YOU MAY WELL HAVE TO BE QUICK! IN SHORT - I HAVE TRIED TO GRADE VERY STRICTLY INDEED - AND PRICE THESE RECORDS TO GO!
So please buy with absolute confidence and take a look at this GREAT item on offer below:-
RARITY:- One of the Beatles most sought after LPs ever! This one is made even rarer still - as it is the EARLIEST 1st Press variation ever made, with 1N/1N matrixes, 'Jobete' miscredit, and 'Gotta' misprint (instead of Got A) to the labels & cover! This one also has an ULTRA RARE 'E.J.Day' Cover too - with is especially rare, as most were made by Garrod & Lofthouse instead!
COUNTRY:- UK
MONO/STEREO:- MONO
PRESSING:- 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING - with with 1N/1N matrixes, 'Jobete' miscredit to the labels, 'Gotta' misprint (instead of Got A) to the labels & cover, and an ULTRA RARE 'E.J.Day' Cover!
ARTIST:- BEATLES
TITLE:- WITH THE BEATLES
CAT NUMBER:- PMC 1206
LABEL:- PARLOPHONE
DATE:- 1963
SIGNS OF PLAY:- REGULAR
LABELS:- VG+ - the only detail to mention, is some slight wear around the centre holes, and minor texturisation! NO stickers, NO writing, NO rips, NO tears, etc!
RECORD GRADING:- VERY strictly graded G if not better! (Graded directly under a 150 watt bulb!) Still a VERY presentable record indeed and VERY bright & shiny looking! And I suspect most people would grade it higher visually. It has NO nasty concentric marks, 2 or 3 VERY small lateral hairline type marks, only 3 or 4 TINY surface marks, only 3 or 4 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the light paper scuffs only visible under light! Essentially you have a VERY bright and shiny record indeed, with a few marks on either side. It plays with NO skips, only a few light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL! However the record also does have some audible background sound (which this LP is very prone to having) - though this is well lost behind ALL but the VERY quietest parts of the music ONLY! And as most of this LP is very VERY loud indeed, on much of the LP - this background sound is pushed way behind it, and the music is still VERY good to listen to! Still a VERY presentable example of a very VERY rare record indeed!
INNER:- PLAIN
COVER GRADING:- This very VERY rare E.J.Day Cover must grade AT LEAST VG if not better (Graded VERY strictly indeed!) and is a very VERY decent cover indeed - with absolutely NO major defects AT ALL. IMPORTANTLY it has NO flipback loss on the cover back (most do!). It has NO splits, NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), 2 thin 'lifting' areas (NOT rips or tears!) next to the opening edge (this looks to be from manufacture!), slight corner wear, NO rips, NO tears, VERY shiny laminate, barely ANY feathering AT ALL to the VERY nice and straight looking opening edge, NO annotations, and NO writing! Cover back is in GREAT condition - with NO grubbyness, only a few TINY 'age spots', barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, NO rubbing, NO flipback damage (apart from 2 or 3 burring traces to the edge of the bottom flipback, and NO writing! A very VERY decent cover indeed!

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one! I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem! This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem. Thanks again - Graham @ XXXRecords.
PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt. MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):- Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little. Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002. However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever. However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out. Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself. On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!). I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs! And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference. THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER! No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged. Any questions - please ask!price rating
