Description
With The Beatles 1st Pressing - 1963 Stereo Parlophone
Below are the factoids that indicate it is a 1st Pressing. It is very rare, especially with the vinyl in such great condition
-- The front cover has Stereo written in a large font (later pressings had it in a smaller font)
-- The sleeve was printed by G & L
-- The label is the Yellow & Black issue
-- The record labels do not have "Sold in the UK...." printed on them but DO HAVE the "Recording First published 1963" statements
-- On side two, the song title for "You Really Got a Hold On Me" is mis-spelled as "You Really Gotta..."
-- Since we can see that all the above is true, that means that the publishing credit after the song title "Money" will show as Jobete
YEX 110 2 and YEX 111 2 are the correct matrix sequences
I am not an expert on condition grading. The cover shows wear, and the labels on both sides show some scratching. However, the condition of the vinyl on both sides is beautiful. I cannot see any scratches or rubs.
Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Shipping and insurance will be $15.
Good luck and please check out my other Beatles auction for a 1963 pressing of their first album "Please Please Me".
