ULTRA RARE BEATLES 'With The Beatles' MONO LP UK ***1st PRESSING XEX 447 1N***
PMC1206 XEX 447 - 1 N XEX 448 -1 N
1963 PARLOPHONE LABEL
I am not an expert or frequent seller of vinyl so I will be as open and honest as I can regarding to
spefications and condition - plenty of photos of the indentifying facts -
sold as is - no returns unless this is a fake (which it is not)
picked this up with a few other records recently that are also listed.
Some scratches visible - Album Cover is fair condition for its age (over 50 years old) - dogged corners
and creases, date in pen bottom back corner and name in pen to back corner.
What you have got it appears - is a RARE and ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING with all the right -
(or should that be wrong) mistakes on the label and the album sleeve.

This has all the 'wanted' errors with 'Jobete' credit on the MONEY track on Side 2 and mis-spelling of
GOTTA on Track 3 Side 2 - 1st pressing matrix numbers, Ernest J Day cover with folded over edges -
has date in ink on the back 29.11.63
Has 'Use EMITEX' inner sleeve
I am not listing this as MINT condition or anything like that - I would give it a 5 or 6 out of 10 and in
fair used condition with signs of wear and marks to the cover (see pictures) - original inner cover and
some scratches to the record itself but nothing excessive and ultimately playable.

First pressing. November 22, 1963. Black label with yellow logo and silver print.“The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Recording first published 1963?. “Jobete” publishing credit for “Money” (Side 2). Polythene-liner “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. First pressing has misspeled “You Really Gotta Hold On Me” credit on the Side 2. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 447-1N; Side 2: XEX 448-1N.
First pressings had the matrices 447-1N & 448-1N. During pressing, it was noticed that the credits & spelling on the labels and covers were incorrect i.e. the track ‘Money’ was given the incorrect “Jobete” credit and the track “You Really Got A Hold on Me” was mispelt on the cover and on the labels as “Gotta”. These errors were only noticed after a quantity of 1N mis-pressings had been made. The errors were soon corrected and the matrix numbers on the record almost immediately started to rise from 1N to 3N, 4N, 5N, 6N and finally ending with 7N, with which the majority of 1963 mono were pressed.
