I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Fair / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.

WITH THE BEATLES.
ORIGINAL UK PARLOPHONE STEREO LP PCS 3045.
Rare original pressing with hard to find misspelt Domion credit on the side 2 label. This also is a Jobete pressing. The back cover has got the 'Got a hold on me' credit.
The Cover / VG- condition. I graded the cover as VG minus due to it having a three inch split to the bottom seam. The lamination is still clean with some light wear. The cover has several creases, and the back of the cover has some aging. This is a Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover that shows its age but is not trashed.
The Record / VG condition. The record has a nice original gloss. It does have some light surface wear/the odd light mark under halogen light. The record plays very good with some surface crackle under the music on some tracks.
Matrix Numbers: YEX 110-2, YEX 111-2
Labels / EX- condition. Both labels are clean with some light age wear only.
The Inner / VG+ condition. Original polylined EMETEX inner cover in nice condition.
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
