YELLOW SUBMARINE/ELEANOR RIGBY (Capitol #5715 1st pressing w/PICTURE SLEEVE, 1966): CLEAN M- PIC SLEEVE & CLEAN M- 45 w/JUKEBOX TITLE STRIP!
CLEAN M- PICTURE SLEEVE without splits, writing, holes or tears; just a touch of the ring wear that's maddeningly common on other examples of this dark sleeve. Plus CLEAN M- 1st pressing 45 with glossy vinyl & immaculate labels. This is a $75-$100 combo, folks; jukebox title strip included.
It's easy to forget how revolutionary Paul's Eleanor Rigby was in 1966. There just weren't any pop songs with downbeat lyrics like Rigby & its use of a string section was unheard-of in a '60s rock band's recordings. Yellow Submarine broke new ground too; it inspired an entire animated film released in 1968.
One only...don't miss it!
