The Beatles Yesterday and Today st 2553 2nd state butcher stereo 1966

This is a VG/VG+ copy of the Beatles Yesterday and Today 1966, second state butcher cover pasteover. This album is a remarkable example of an unpeeled stereo pressing from the Los Angeles plant. RIAA #5. Stereo pasteovers are outnumbered by mono copies 10 to 1, and therefore much more rare.

Vinyl is in VG+ condition, only a few very light surface scuffs. Clean labels.
Cover is in VG condition. Bottom edge of cover is split almost halfway, and there's a little ragging as a result. A small amount of aging appears on the white areas. Otherwise, the edges are pretty crisp and its a great record.

You can see the butcher characteristics in the photos: on one corner there is a tiny bit of separation of the pasteover slick where you can see the dark grey corner of the butcher slick. In the close-up you can make out a little of Ringo's black turtleneck halfway between the edge of the trunk and the edge of the photo. There is the "full dimensional stereo" imprint along with the needle disclaimer, and the #5 next to the RIAA stamp indicating the Los Angeles plant.
