Second state "paste over" butcher cover
STEREO

Up for auction is a decent copy of the Beatles "Yesterday and Today" butcher cover in its rarer STEREO form. This version has the trunk cover pasted over the butcher image. The 'V' on Ringo's turtleneck is clearly visable through the white cover on the righthand side. I guarantee this to be an authentic butcher cover. Although this is not the highest grade copy in the world, it would be nice for peeling and would be nice for a budget collector. I have set a modest starting price for this item.

CONDITION

COVER- The front cover grades about VG with some rub wear and the back cover is VG- with brown age spots (see photo). There is a one inch repaired seam split at the bottom center of the cover (nothing serious), but the other two seams are solid and the spine print is fully readable. The is a decent cover overall. There is a small #5 next to the RIAA logo indicating a Los Angeles pressing. As many of you know, these peel VERY successfully.

VINYL- The vinyl is simply a throw-in and grades about GOOD.

LABELS- The labels are VG+ with extremely light wear around the spindle hole.
