BEATLES YESTERDAY AND TODAY, US, orig. record, sleeve, butcher cover. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail--or USPS media mail.
Hi. The Beatles Yesterday and Today, mono ("high fidelity recording"), T 2553. Includes: original album cover, original mono record, and original record sleeve.
We bought this new, at our local Woolworth, the same morning our KMPX radio station put out that the there was a new Beatles album out there that had a pasted-over cover of the Beatles dressed in meat. We, my brother and I, bought it intending to steam off the overlay, and we did. We had sort of the opinion that the album cover was going to be more of a social statement.
Condition. The record and the cover are probably better off than one might expect; because, by the time this came out, we had already veered off to other music. So, it mostly sat in the shelf while other records got pulled out--later it got put into a heavy plastic sleeve. So, it's dingy and got a little foxing; but, oddly enough, because it wasn't getting dragged out nearly so much, the album cover's three closed edges are essentially intact--unlike the heavily-scuffed edges of just about every one of my other albums.
The record has some visual wear; but, I just listened to it on our OK linear turntable and record seems in near perfect condition--one song had two small pops, and that was it, as far as I heard.
I don't give refunds or take returns; so, I start with a low minimum and, please, bid accordingly.
Thanks, for looking. Happy to answer any questions or add more photos. Good luck and good skill.
Hi. I just sent an inquirer some extra photos and since they don't seem to be included in this listing, I am loading them (and a couple more) on to this listing.
