The Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' - Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) Audiophile LP
This is a rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) audiophile pressing of the Beatles classic animated movie, 'Yellow Submarine' from the Mobile Fidelity box set. This release was mastered at half speed from the original master tapes, and pressed onto pure super vinyl by JVC, which has an extraordinarily quiet playing surface, extreme durability and a lifespan many times exceeding conventional pressings. The vinyl is so pure that its translucent when held up to the light. This is arguably the best sounding release of this album ever available, with far superior dynamic range, top-end and better stereo separation. On an A to B comparison with a standard pressing, this release is far superior, sounding much fresher and full of life!
Rarely played, vinyl is near mint (NM). The sleeve is near mint (NM), including a photo of the master tape box with notes on the recording. The sleeve includes a cardboard inner protector and rice paper inner-sleeve. The complete box often sells for upward of £800. This is one of the rarest Beatles MFSL titles individually, but bidding for this near mint example will start at only £39.99. Someone will get a definite bargain.
