Description

1966 mono issue on US Capitol T 2553. This has the original “butcher cover” underneath the front slick (“second state”). Ringo’s black shirt is faintly visible and the cover measures slightly less side to side than other 1960s Beatles albums. It was trimmed at the factory after the replacement cover was affixed. Back cover has the number 6 at the bottom right corner.

Record is VG+.

Cover: While the front slick is nice, there is a 6” seam split on the top right and the bottom 8” of the spine is split. The back is a bit rough as shown.
