THE BEATLES. The Beatles and Frank Ifield "Portrait Cover". mono. does not say STEREO anywhere. i believe this is a counterfiet. small pieces of the paper slick on the spine are missing so i cant tell if there was printing on the spine or not. there is writing on the back cover, someone circled 4 of the songs and X,ed Frank Ifield,s name at the top. the front has what appears to be someones initials at the both. the spine has a piece of clear tape that is almost unnoticeable which i believe was placed there due to small pieces of paper slick peeling. top and bottom seam are fine with no splits. there is storage wear as scan shows. the lp is a flat black label with silver print and open VJ with VEE-JAY RECORDS printed below. lp is in excellent condition. as you know there were very few real copys of this lp and about as few counterfiet copys and i believe this to be a counterfiet copy. this would make a great filler copy until you find the real thing and mortgage the house. when was the last time you saw a counterfiet or the real thing for sale. stored in double plastic sleeves. part of a my Beatles collection that i never thought i would sell. media mail shipping will be $2.00. priority mail will be $5.00. insurance is $1.00 per $50.00 and recomended. foreign shipping costs will be quoted. i accept cash, check, mo or paypal. also listing many more Beatles lps.
