This auction is for the following vinyl LP :

BEATLES- Abbey Road- PERSIAN release in unique cover with a stunning mistake in the front cover. Whoever decided to add the album tittle had it printed as “ABBY” instead of "ABBEY" ROAD. An amazing one-off typo! This might very well be the ultimate museum-quality Abbey Road collector’s item as ALL Iranian vinyl pressings were disposed of, destroyed or confiscated after the fall of the shah and the coming up of Ayatollah khomeini (who then installed an Islamic theocratic constitution becoming supreme leader of the country and hence banning all possible Western influence, like all these great 60’s and 70’s Vinyl LP's we love). 
But this one visibly escaped the hands of the fanatics and made its way to us, just so that we could pass it on to a real Beatles fan, who will no doubt preserve it as one of the holly grails of his collection. (At least this is our wish!). This album doesn't even appear in a recent Beatles catalogue of worldwide vinyl pressings, so you can imagine the type of rarity we're talking about here... very very few people have seen it or even heard of it.
The laminated cover grades EX(-) with a small stain on upper right corner (about 2,5 centimeters in length and 2 milimiters wide, really not a big deal!). There is ultra light edge wear but still intact spine and edges. The backcover is also completely unique and simply superb (check the second picture). The vinyl is clean for the most part except for a stain that looks like a haze on side 1. I’m not sure what caused this but i suspect it could have been some wax that wasn't properly cleaned. In any case it plays through ok with some moderate background noise on this spot, but of course without any jumps or skips.. This is a nice copy, believe me, and i don’t think that being this rare that it will be your playing copy! Frankly this item deserves its place in a Beatles museum.
PS: Showed this to 2 Beatles experts in a record fair and they were simply flabbergasted. I think they didn't sleep for weeks after this experience!

We are extra careful packing and shipping all our items. Records are always removed from their sleeves to avoid seam split covers (except for sealed records), extra padding is added to assure a strong and solid package. Items are shipped in strong LP mailers within 48 hours of payment reception. We endeveour to provide the best, faster and most secure service possible. We prefer shipping by REGISTERED AIRMAIL . This way it's possible to track down packages. Any other shipping method is always a risk, so if you really prefer to have your package not registered and pay less for shipping, you must agree that you assume to take over all responsability for a lost package. If you choose NON-REGISTERED shipping, you must send us an email confirmation that in case of loss or non-receipt, you assume all responsability and therefore give up your right to any complaints. If you do not agree with this then please do choose the recommended registered shipping method!

Our grading is based on the Record Collector Grading system with the addition of + and - for a better level of accuracy.
